At night, when she is by my side, I feel life; real breathing, beating life. I can hear her every inhale and exhale. I listen to what my soul tells me. It says, ”I’d imagine you don’t want to live a thousand more life times before you find the answer, so shape up!” I feel her feet brush slightly up against mine. I become afraid; afraid that she will stay asleep and leave me alone to sort through the millions and millions of thoughts that bleed from my mind, night after night.
